GOVERNMENT & REGULATORY RELATIONS
DSA monitor economic and regulatory environments in order to influence favourable market conditions for members and their independent salespeople.
DSA lobby stakeholders and maintain a dialogue with key policy makers, media and kindred bodies. The Association formulate and create awareness around policies and collect and disseminate industry statistics.
DSA regularly liaise with Members to maintain awareness of their issues and provide an invaluable advisory service and guidelines for best practices.
DSA provide a range of informational resources. Members will receive regular communication alerts via email about critical issues, news and information and also a monthly e-newsletter.
Members will also be granted access to the member only area of the website. Here members will find publications and documents providing guidelines and best practices for direct selling businesses (such as the Legal Compliance and Risk Management Guide), industry research, explainer videos, policy position papers, an online member directory and more!
ACCESS TO BEST PRACTICES
Throughout the year members are able to attend face to face events with others from within the industry. This provides an opportunity for members to meet one another and for executives with mutual interests to build business relationships, a support system and even friendships.
Whether it’s an Annual Conference, a workshop, seminar or a social event, members often share best practices and experiences with one another allowing them to obtain a wider understanding of the industry.
BUSINESS SUPPORT & SERVICES
DSA has built a network of supplier members who have expertise in the direct selling industry and will be able to provide support services and assistance to members.
They include accountants, legal firms, insurance brokers and consultants as well as companies that can assist with consultant software programs, logistics and warehousing, facilitation of commission payments and more.
DSA has negotiated Agreements for members and their independent sales people in areas such as taxation and insurance which helps to support their businesses and provides added protection.
RESEARCH & INDUSTRY INSIGHT
DSA engage respected research agencies to compile credible industry data. Combined with regular internal research, this allows members to make smarter and better informed operating decisions.
DSA maintains membership with the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations www.wfdsa.org who build understanding and support for direct selling worldwide. The Association maintain dialogue and interact with international direct selling associations and their members to provide global perspective.
CREDIBILITY & CONSUMER CONFIDENCE
Members of the Association adhere to DSA Code of Practice and are committed to the highest professional and ethical standards. Members are able to promote their membership by displaying DSA logo on their customer order forms, website and literature. This offers consumers a sense of protection, credibility and peace of mind.

MARKETING & PROMOTION
DSA provide marketing and promotion for members through member listings and features on the Association’s website, newsletter and through articles about direct selling in the media.
The DSA will often speak and participate in industry related events such as conferences, stakeholder events and career expos. This educates the public about direct selling and promotes the career opportunities our members provide. The DSA also provide resources and tools for members’ distributors to assist them to promote their businesses.
