Herbalife win CMA award

Press Release: Herbalife, a global nutrition company, for the second consecutive year won the prestigious “Social Selling Award 2016” at the Complementary Medicines Australia (CMA) 17th Annual Industry Awards Dinner in Sydney.
The award honoured Herbalife for its marketing innovations, excellence in training and exceptional standards and quality assurance. The CMA is the leading association in Australia to promote, protect and grow the vibrant complementary healthcare products industry.
“Herbalife strives to show Australians how nutrition can lead to a long and healthy life,” said Rod Taylor, general manager, Australia and New Zealand, Herbalife Nutrition. “The CMA recognizes our initiatives that we hope will encourage Australians to embrace active lifestyles.”
This award, presented in September, highlighted some of Herbalife’s initiatives:
- The APAC Wellness Tour, where experts on the Herbalife’s Nutrition Advisory Board speak at conferences in many Asian cities during a three-week tour.
- Herbalife24 Day, an on-going effort to raise public awareness of the importance of balanced nutrition and a healthy active lifestyle.
- The A-League’s Western Sydney Wanderers FC, where Herbalife Nutrition is the Official Nutrition Partner.
- The Herbalife Family Foundation, which supports an annual bike ride fundraiser for Casa Herbalife programs such as the Infants’ Home in Sydney, the Lighthouse Foundation in Melbourne and the Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation.
“This award would not be possible without the great work of our members in their communities, leadership from our team and the support of our dedicated staff,” Taylor said. “Team work has delivered excellence that our peers in the industry have recognised.”
