Previous Direct Selling Australia Executive Director, John Holloway Honoured with Life Membership

At the 2018 Direct Selling Australia (DSA) Celebratory Dinner, John Holloway, DSA’s previous Executive Director was inducted into the Hall of Fame for his long-standing commitment to the direct selling industry. On the night, DSA Life Member, Bill Roche AM announced the new Life Membership, expressing his thanks to John for his contribution. John Holloway has had an extensive career in legal and regulatory sectors, including chief executive roles in both public and private organisations. John’s public sector experience allowed him to develop a strong understanding of the structure and operation of industry associations. This background and his understanding of the direct selling industry led to his appointment as Executive Director of the Association in 2007. John served 10-year with the Association and retired in 2017. John continues to support the Association as a member of the DSA Legal and Government Committee.

“DSA life membership recognises individuals who have given outstanding service to the industry and the Association. The success of direct selling in Australia can be attributed to the hard work and commitment of our Life Members. John’s achievement is a true testament to dedication and contribution over his tenure as the Executive Director of the Association. It is an honour to recognise John for his outstanding achievement”, shared Gillian Stapleton, DSA Executive Director.
