Young Living in Uganda

The jigger infection in Africa has created some severe hardships for many Ugandan children. These children are most vulnerable to getting foot-related diseases from sand fleas called jiggers while playing barefoot on the dirt floors of schools and homes.

Sole Hope Uganda offers resources for healthier lives, including education, jobs, and medical relief. Young Living members regularly host shoe cutting events to cut out denim that will be turned into shoes by Sole Hope to make shoes for Africa to prevent jigger infection. Members can round up on their Young Living purchases – adding those extra cents to the efforts of the Foundation and Sole Hope.

Watch to learn how the Young Living Foundation teamed up with Sole Hope and donations are changing the lives of children in Eastern Uganda.
